After having long since outgrown this account and finally have discovered my very own identity that isn't influenced by Nationalism, I have been contemplating what to do about this old account and its, admittedly, sensitive, racist, and offensive content. I was thinking along the lines of trashing this account as a whole and starting completely fresh, but once on the internet, that's where it forever stays, and if I try to hide what was practically teenage ignorance on top of being grossly informed on Historical Facts and influenced by whack ideologies, there is going to come a day where I will eventually have to answer for it.
That being said, instead of shamelessly hiding my old art and the whack content it contains, I think I owe it to those in cyberspace who stumble across this acknowledgement and ownership over what was created, was wrong, and express that I know better now and no longer function on the sheer amount of ignorance this page exhibits. What I have drawn in the past was insensitive, racist, culturally and historically offensive and ignorant and I definitely do not condone any of the things that I once emulated. It was very wrong to do and I strongly advise anyone who finds the sensitive content within this page to not ever praise it or support it. When created, it came from a ignorant state of mind that refused to do proper research at the time for the sake of protecting my own ego from being wrong and then holding oneself accountable from being wrong. On top of using country flags as part of my identity of who I am as a person was, admittedly quite cringe. Why that happened? Being a teen/young adult who craved freedom so badly that wasn't given at the time, it was my strange way of feeling like a free person in control of myself and my own destiny. There is obviously more to that story but not only is it not very relevant to this journal, it's a topic I do not have time to unpack.
I no longer share the same views or political stances this page of old content shows, and I no longer identify myself using country flags, slogans, nationality, etc. Thankfully I have found myself my very own identity that isn't aligned with a country and it's views and political affiliations. I have long since grown out of this strange phase and do not support or condone any of the old content I once produced. I would also like to offer my sincerest apologies to those who saw the content in the past and were hurt by it or frightened of it in any way, shape, or form. This art community should be a safe place for everyone and I am ashamed that I once contributed to making the art community a uncomfortable and unsafe place. Rest assured, it will not be happening again since I have grown way beyond what I once aligned myself with. The things I draw and post now are devoid of such things and are a lot better to engage with and is a lot more creative.

Hello all! If you are reading this journal entry as a avid follower of my craft, I cannot thank you enough for your love and support! However, I do not regret to inform you that I have undergone an entire change in my identity as a Scalie and have left my old Dragonsona behind. That's right! AMerica, AmericanBlackSerpent, AmericanDragoness, and various other patriotic dragon names I have affiliated with myself is no more. Do not get me wrong, I love my old sona and she will forever have a place in my heart, but she no longer represents who I am as a member of the artistic community, and furry community so I have retired her permanently. Likewise, I have moved on to a different identity and a new DeviantArt URL Account! Of course with the new account, I have forged myself a new dragonsona, and her name is Spitfyre! She's a Sea Swift, a dragon species of my own design! Spitfyre represents my true self when it comes to being a dragon, 100% authentically me! Thank you all who were here with me on this account for all these years, but now it is time for me to begin anew!

In case you hadn't already read through the tag meme thoroughly and figured it out, I am addressed by the name of Scout. I am a Dutch Angel Dragon who fights for the Scout Regiment against the menace to the human race known as Titans. A hobby I take joy in when I don't watch this species die in terrible ways, is bird-watching or reading. As for age, it's nothing but a state of mind, so there's your answer.

Alpine: I barely have any regrets to be honest! I'm very happy with my life! buuuttt.....if I REALLY had to give out an answer....I guess it would be climbing a tree once on a dare. I got stuck and Xydon had to get me down.

Eris: The fuck???? What kind of question is this???? If you were to know what I've been through at all in my life, and I still ain't no emo, then I can guarantee, NOTHING....and I mean...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, can make me become Emo! Bull the hell of it, I'll bite. Someone probably taking Talon away from me. That would be a dick move and she's practically the only family I have left.....so yeah.....
Cobalt: Good heavens, Young Eris becoming enveloped in darkness and meaningless cliques on top of that? Considering her usual behavior, I can surmise she's way too much of a strong-willed brute to become something she is not. By small happenstance that does occur, I would question whether or not her solemn friend Matteo is to blame simply as influence. *mild shudder* God be with her if she ever falls prey to his influence...................I would elaborate on why that would be a problem, but I prefer to leave it unsaid.
Scout: I don't even know this youngster, let alone know what Emo even means, so how exactly would it be a worrisome burden on my subconscious? It's not my business. Besides, she seems like a very annoying little brat. Definitely someone I wouldn't want to have in my life. Ugh.....
Vakoma: I don't know her either, but I gotta say, the kid has a mouth on her. She doesn't really strike me as someone who would become Emo, I don't know.....(shrug)........Either way, as long as she is not hurting anybody, then what's the big deal?
